Cru'Ella ( Ella to her friends ) was born 20th October 2002.We were over the moon when Richard called to say Leah had had eight puppies including two brown girls.We wanted a newf so we could work her .. but little did we know quite how much Ella would effect our lives!
Ella has waterwork in her blood,she lives for her Sunday's out swimming.We are so proud of her,our first baby girl.
By the age of 5 Ella had passed sections A through to E making us very proud of her.Not keen on carting,we decided in 2009 to give it a go.By Setember 09 Ella had passed her Level 4 making her one of few to join the elite 'E4' club.
By the end of 2009 Ella had achieved multi test pass certificates in water sections B,C and D and in March 2010 she achieved her Diploma in draught level 4.Ella was awarded the 2009 Alain Noveou trophy by The Newfoundland Club Working Section,and Awarded Top Water dog,Top Working dog and ironicly Top Draught dog trophies by the Southern Newfoundland Club for 2009.Wow,what a year!
Over the years Ella has taken part in water display in the sea at Dover,in various country fairs,she has been on the stand at Discover Dogs - both Earls Court and Crufts.She has passed her Bronze and Silver good citezens - numerous times - with several children! and has seen the coming of 5 newfs in our ever growing Newfy pack ( Teddy,Merlin,Syd,Minnie and Reggie ).
Her temprement is wonderful,we could simply not have asked for any more from a newf,she has given us more than we could ever have hoped for.She is a true 'Nana' to our children,and she has taught our baby Minnie so much of her spirit.
